Promoting you to Promote Yourself

Commercial promotion is necessary in any economy. Naomi Klein sites in her book No Logo "To quote Tom Peters, the brand man himself:'Brand! Brand!! Brand!!! That's the message...for the late '90's and beyond.'...This was the secret, it seemed, of all the success stories of the late eighties and early nineties. The lesson of Marlboro Friday was that there never really was a brand crisis - only brands that that had crises of confidence." In this receded global economy the fear factor is so omnipresent it has people shaking in their boots, but this fear is no more than an illusion which will inevitably skim the fat from the top leaving a piping hot economy for those businesses that were smart enough to keep their brand visible to the public eye.
